Signature Meads

The meads below are our signature meads, offered year-round.

Traditional Dry Mead

This is our take on the original classic mead. Just honey, water, and yeast. Nothing else added. This is a great mead to introduce yourself to the taste of mead and to our meadery. Experience history and drink a beverage cultivated throughout history from Ancient Ethiopia, to Ancient Egypt, to Ancient China, and Medieval Europe.

Green Tea Mead w/Lemongrass

This is a unique tasting mead. Green tea and lemongrass were added during the mead production to give it a distinguished taste. Try this mead if you enjoy green tea or white wine.

Blackened Oak Mead

This is the owner’s favorite mead. Different roots such as oak were added to our classic mead to create this flavor profile. This is a good sipper. Recommended for those who enjoy whiskey, bourbon, scotch, or oak tastes in their beverages.

Orange Blossom Mead

This mead is made with orange blossom honey. Orange blossom honey is created by putting beehives in fields filled with the orange blossom plant. The bees use the orange blossom pollen to create nectar and the orange blossom flavor carries into the honey. This gives the mead an enjoyable natural floral citrus taste.

Black and Gold BourboN-Barrel Aged Mead

Named after the New Orleans Saints and also for it’s characteristics: “BLACK” for the dark maple-like honey used and for the dark bourbon-barrel oak chips we soaked it in, “GOLD” for the floral honeys used to add a springtime feel. This mead is made from a mix of different honeys and oaks giving it an exceptional flavor profile.
